Daily Itinerary

Day 1: USA - Istanbul
Enjoy a relaxing overnight flight to Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul - Arrival
Upon arrival you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure before a welcome briefing by your tour director.

Day 3: Istanbul
Enjoy a full-day tour of Istanbul including Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. Consider an optional dinner with belly-dancing entertainment. (B)

Day 4: Gallipoli - Dardanelles - Canakkale
En route to Gallipoli, visit Anzac Cove, the Lone Pine Cemetery, Chunk Bair Battlefield and the Gabatepe War Museum. Cross the Dardanelles to Canakkale. (B,D)

Day 5: Troy - Pergamum - Kusadasi
Visit Troy's legendary walls and replica of the famous wooden horse used during the Trojan War. Tour the ancient medical center of Asclepion in Pergamum. Continue to Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 6: Ephesus & Virgin Mary's house - Kusadasi
Today, tour the ruins of Ephesus complete with 2,000 year old marble streets, a theater, the Library of Celsius, and Hadrian's Temple. Continue to the Virgin Mary's cottage, nestled atop a wooded hill. Proceed to a regional carpet weaving production center. (B,D)

Day 7: Kusadasi - Pamukkale
Drive through lush valleys to Pamukkale, literally meaning Cotton Castle, which describes its white lime cascades formed by natural mineral springs. Visit the ruins of the Roman health spa of Hierapolis and enjoy a swim in your hotel's thermal pool. (B,D)

Day 8: Pamukkale - Perge - Antalya
Relax during a scenic drive from Pamukkale to Antalya and pay a visit to the ancient city of Perge with its streets of colonnades. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon by the Mediterranean Sea, an area also known as the Turquoise Coast. (B,D)

Day 9: Antalya
Today enjoy a full day at leisure or consider an optional tour to Phaselis, an ancient coastal city, or a lazy yacht cruise along the Mediterranean Coast. (B,D)

Day 10: Antalya - Aspendos - Konya
After breakfast depart for Konya. En route visit Aspendos with its magnificently preserved 15,000 person amphitheater. In Konya visit Mevlana's Mausoleum, founder of the Whirling Dervishes, and the Karatay Koran School, with its impressive display of colorful Turkish tiles. (B,D)

Day 11: Konya - Cappadocia
Drive to Cappadocia, famous for it's moon-like landscapes. En route visit the 13th-century Seljuk Caravan Inn of Agzikarahan and the famous underground city of Sarhatli. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 12: Cappadocia
Consider an optional early morning hot air balloon tour and experience floating through the volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves at sunrise. After breakfast, visit Goreme with its 6th-10th century rock chapels decorated with Christian frescoes, the pottery-making village of Avanos, Pasabagi's Byzantine monastic complex, and the Red Valley. Day 13: Cappadocia - Ankara
In the morning depart for Ankara. Embark on an afternoon tour of the Ataturk Mausoleum, founder of modern Turkey, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations with its Hittite treasures and artifacts from the world's oldest city. (B,D)

Day 14: Ankara - Istanbul
After breakfast drive to Istanbul. In the afternoon, consider an optional cruise along the Bosphorus, the waterway that separates Europe and Asia. Make time for last minute shopping at the Spice Bazaar before a farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 15: Istanbul - Return
You will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home. (B)


Policy Information and Terms & Conditions:

Reservations: All travel arrangements and reservations should be made by January 31, 2013. Later bookings must be approved in advance. All departures are guaranteed after written confirmation from Key Tours. Prices are based on double occupancy; if traveling with a companion please provide their voucher number in addition to yours to secure your double occupancy rate.

Deposit and Final Payment
: Your purchase of a LivingSocial Escapes voucher for the Glories of Turkey package will act as your final payment for services booked. Any additional services booked including travel insurance, additions to the itinerary, etc. must be paid for using a separate payment form. The single supplement charge is $765 for February and March departures and $825 for April and May departures. All reservations must be confirmed by January 31, 2013. If any outstanding balance is not received within 45 days prior to departure, the land portion of your booking is cancelled automatically. Participants waive any charge-back rights and, in the event of dispute, requests for a refund must be made using the procedures described herein.

Cancellations
: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing directly to Key Tours International. A $150 fee per person will be charged for all cancellations. The cost of all airline tickets and taxes are non-refundable after a booking is confirmed. Additionally, the following scale of charges will apply as a percentage of total service price when notice occurs within 60 days of service start: 60-31 days prior - 20%; 30-14 days prior - 40%; 13-3 days prior - 70%; Later Cancellations and No Shows - 100%
