Day 1: USA-Rome
Enjoy a relaxing overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2: Rome-Arrival
Upon arrival, you will me met and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 3: Rome
Today enjoy a panoramic tour of the Capitol Hill, the Forum and the Colosseum. Afternoon take a suggestive walking tour through the masterpieces of Bernini and Borromini. Special welcome dinner with music and wine included. (B,D)
Day 4: Rome-Siena-Florence
Drive to Siena and join a walking tour of the city to admire the Dome (outside), the magnificent square known as Il Campo, where twice a year the Palio race is run on bareback horses. Late in the afternoon you will arrive in Florence. A stop is planned at Michelangelo’s square for a first photo opportunity. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight. (B,D)
Day 5: Florence & Pisa
Today enjoy a guided tour of Florence including the Cathedral, Giotto’s bell tower, the doors of the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, the Church of Santa Croce, the Pantheon of many famous Italian artists. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive to Pisa to admire the Leaning Tower and the Marvellous Piazza dei Miracoli. Overnight in Florence. (B,L)
Day 6: Florence-Venice
You will have a free morning before driving to
Venice. Aftermoon is at leisure in Venice. Free
time to explore this magnificent city. (B)
Day 7: Venice-San Marino
Today enjoy a guided visit of St. Mark's Square
and neighbouring sites. Late afternoon departure
to San Marino for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 8: San Marino-Assisi-Rome
After breakfast, free time in San Marino. Proceed to Assisi, a great religious town significant of the life of St-Francis. Visit the great Basilica with its magnificent paintings by Giotto. Proceed to Rome driving through the magnificent Umbria, the “Green Heart” of Italy. Enjoy a special dinner at a typical Roman restaurant. Overnight at hotel nearby the airport. (B,D)
Day 9: Rome-Return
After breakfast you will be transferred to Rome airport for your next destination. (B)
