Daily Itinerary


Day 1: Madrid – Arrival

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure in this magical city.

Day 2: Explore Madrid

Today, visit the former residence of the Spanish Royal Family. Inside, see the tapestries, elaborate furniture, and paintings. Then, drive through the district of the Hapsburgs, visit the Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcala before seeing the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum. Stop at the famous Hard Rock Cafe for a drink. The remainder of the day is at leisure for additional sites, shopping, wonderful restaurants and shows. In the afternoon, consider joining an optional tour to Toledo. (B)

Day 3: Madrid at Leisure

Enjoy a full day at leisure. Consider an joining optional tour to Avila and Segovia. In the evening, you may decide to see an optional Flamenco show. (B)

Day 4: Madrid – Costa Del Sol

Make your own way to the Madrid airport to catch a flight to Malaga (not included). Upon arrival, you will be met at the Malaga Airport and transferred to your hotel on the Costa del Sol. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 5: Costa del Sol at Leisure

You will have a free day to enjoy the sun and the wonderful beaches of Costa del Sol or consider joining an optional tour to Granada, Seville, Ronda, or Gibraltar. (B)

Day 6: Costa del Sol – Barcelona

You will be transferred to the Malaga airport to catch a flight to Barcelona (not included). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure in this vibrant city. (B)

Day 7: Explore Barcelona

Start your day with a sightseeing tour by bus to see the famous Gaudi houses, Olympic Village, Olympic Port, the beach and Fisherman's Quarter, and Plaza de Colon. Drive to Mont Juic to ride the cable car before heading to the Spanish Village. Next, begin a walking tour to the Gothic Cathedral, City Hall, and Plaza de Catalunya. (From January to March the cable car is replaced with a tapas sample.) In the afternoon, you may decide to join an optional tour to Montserrat. Consider visiting an optional Flamenco show in the evening. (B)

Day 8: Barcelona at Leisure

Enjoy a day at leisure in Barcelona or consider an optional tour to the historical city of Girona with its Jewish quarter, and to Figueres with the Dali Museum. (B)

Day 9: Barcelona – Return

Make your own way to the Barcelona airport or train station for your next destination. (B)
