Travel to Bregenz, the capital of Vorarlberg, Austria’s premier ski resort destination. The city lies on the eastern shore of Lake Constance, the third largest freshwater lake in Europe. From the summit of the nearby Pfaender Mountain, which can be reached by cable car from Bregenz, one can see across Lake Constance to Germany, Switzerland, Austria as well as 240 mountain peaks, making this the best lookout point in the region.
