Kildare is the second wealthiest region in Ireland, second only to Dublin. It is sometimes referred to as “the Silicon Valley of Europe” because of the number of high-tech firms that are based here. There are also many fine shops and boutiques throughout this destination. Kildare is also the largest horse-breeding region in Ireland, with three popular racetracks.
