You will be transferred to your hotel in Frankfurt upon arrival.(Your arrival transfer is included only if you arrive on the actual day the tour commences. Frankfurt – Rüdesheim – St. Goar – Cologne

First Class: Maritim Hotel Koeln or similar accommodations

In the morning, depart for Rüdesheim. Enjoy a short tour of the historic center. Next, board a ship and sail along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine - the Lorelei Valley.After disembarking in St. Goar, continue to Cologne by bus. (B)

After breakfast, depart for Potsdam. The city is set on a natural island, surrounded by tributaries and channels of the Havel River. Visit the Sanssouci Palace and park. In the afternoon, continue to Erfurt, known as "Thuringian Rome"because of its architectural beauty. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and visit the largest wooden bridge in Europe. (B)

First Class: Mercure Hotel Frankfurt Airport or similar accommodations

In the morning you are free to explore Erfurt at your leisure. As an alternative, you may also visit the Wartburg (not included). Later in the evening, you will be transferred back to Frankfurt Airport to continue on to your next destination. (B)
