Panama Island Hopping Explorer

Welcome to Panama! Upon arrival at Tocumen International Airport Panama, you will be met by your private driver and English-speaking assistant and driven approximately 30 minutes to your Panama City accommodation. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. 

Today visit the Panama Canal, a magnificent work of engineering, actually the greatest and most expensive human feat of the time. After 30-40 minutes en route, you will reach the Visitor Center of Miraflores Locks, where you will be able to see up close the ships moving along the canal, and the way it operates. Next you will visit the Amador Causeway, which offers one of the city’s most spectacular panoramic views. The tour ends in the Old Quarter of Panama City, where the historic center of San Felipe was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997, thanks to its eclectic fusion of colonial, neoclassic and French architecture. This stop includes lunch in one of the center's beautiful restaurants, a walk through the streets, squares, and gravel roads, and a visit to emblematic colonial buildings, churches, and palaces. Depart around 5 - 5:30 in the morning for an exciting journey that will take you to stunning islands where you can relax and enjoy paradise. You'll be transported in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle to the dock located in Garti Tupile, approximately 2.5 hours from Panama City. From there, you'll board a boat that will take you to the islands where you'll have the opportunity to visit one of the Kuna Yala communities where you'll enjoy traditional Kuna Yala food. Your San Blas Island visit will conclude around 2-3pm, at which point you'll be transported back to Carti on the mainland to meet the 4x4 transportation back to Panama City. You'll arrive in Panama City between 6 and 7pm. Please note that the times provided are approximate, and the itinerary may vary slightly from what is indicated. (B, L)  

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your private driver and English-speaking assistant for your transfer to Flamenco Marina, where you will board the Ferry Las Perlas to Contadora Island, one of the beautiful islands of the Archipielago de las Perlas.  (B)

After a relaxing morning at the beach, you will board the ferry back to Panama City. Meet your private driver and English-speaking assistant once you disembark the ferry for your transfer to your hotel in Panama City. After checking in, we will take you to Pedro Mandinga, located just a few meters away from the hotel. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your private driver and English-speaking assistant for your transfer to Albrook Airport for your flight to David. Upon arrival, you will be met by your private driver and English-speaking assistant and driven approximately an hour to your hotel in Boca Chica. (B) 

After breakfast, meet at the restaurant of Bocas del Mar to start an amazing discovery island tour. Journey to the breathtaking Gulf of Chiriquí Marine National Park accompanied by a local captain. Explore the islands of the gulf, witness marine life, experience the warm tropical breeze, and stroll along the white sandy beaches. Stop at up to two enchanting islands, depending on the season, and enjoy snorkeling and swimming at Bolaños Island and relaxing on a tropical beach on Gámez Island. (B) 

Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver and English-speaking assistant for the approximate hour transfer to Enrique Malek International Airport - David where you will check-in for your flight back to Panama City. Upon arrival, your private driver and English-speaking assistant will transfer you to Tocumen International Airport for your onward international flight. (B)
