Day 1 : Paris – Arrival
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely Seine cruise today included in your program.
Day 2 : Explore Paris
This morning, join a small group tour to explore Paris. Highlights include Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Opera House, Champs Elysees Avenue, and the Latin Quarter. We suggest you join an optional small group visit of the Louvre Museum with its stunning collection of paintings, sculptures, and architecture, in the afternoon. (B)
Day 3 : Paris – Dijon
This morning,l travel by TGV train to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy's wine region. Make your own way to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Musée des Beaux Arts, located in the Palace of the Dukes and States of Burgundy. See the medieval and Renaissance rooms and 15th-century art of Burgundy and Dijon. Explore the tombs with access to the musicians’ loft and admire Italian Renaissance paintings in the Bellegarde Gallery. (B)
Day 4 : Explore Burgundy
This morning is free to discover Dijon. In a green setting, the historic capital of the Dukes of Valois offers the visitor a chance to explore the heritage of one of the most artistically significant French cities. In the afternoon, join a small group tour to discover the Cote de Nuits, nicknamed the Champs Elysees of Burgundy. Appellations and terroir will reveal all their secrets to you including the exceptional Premier Cru or Grand Cru. Your minibus tour includes a cellar visit and wine tasting and free time in Beaune. Day 5 : Dijon – Paris
Return to Paris by TGV train and check into your hotel for your last night in Paris. Consider joining a night tour of Paris including dinner on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower and a show at the Moulin Rouge. (B)
Day 6 : Paris – Return
After breakfast, make your own way to the Paris airport for your return flight home. (B)
