Daily Itinerary

Day 1: USA-Rome
Enjoy a relaxing overnight flight to Rome.
 
Day 2: Rome - Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Rome airport you will be transferred to your hotel by shuttle bus. You will have the afternoon free to enjoy this fashion city.

Day 3: Rome
This morning you join your walking tour of Baroque Rome and visit the Trevi Fountain, where throwing in a coin ensures returning to Rome, the Piazza Navona, site of Bernini's fountains and the Pantheon. (B) (B)

Day 4: Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento
Your journey begins by heading south along the highway of the sun, crossing the fertile Roman countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani, dotted with enchanting medieval villages. Arrive in Naples, one of the largest cities of Italy. After a panoramic sightseeing tour of the lively city, we’ll carry on towards Pompeii. After a lunch in a typical restaurant close to the archaeological site, you’ll be driven back in time to the fateful day in 79 A.D.. Your visit to the haunting ruins of Pompeii will remain imprinted in your memory. After the visit you’ll leave Pompeii and be driven to the “Costa Sorrentina” to reach Sorrento. There you’ll have a nice dinner (dress code requested) and overnight stay. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento
After breakfast you’ll embark on a trip to Island of Capri. Weather conditions permitting, you’ll take a boat ride to the popular and splendid “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. On the return to the port you’ll board a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918 feet above sea level. You’ll have a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples before continuing to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch you will have some free time to explore Capri on your own. Then you’ll return to Marina Grande from where you will head back to the mainland and return to Sorrento for dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Sorrento – Rome
After breakfast at the hotel enjoy some free time and do your last minute shopping.  Do not forget to buy a bottle of limoncello! In the afternoon you will return to Rome by coach. (B)

Day 7: Rome – Return After breakfast, make your own way to the airport for your return flight home. (B)

Policy Information and Terms & Conditions:

Reservations: All travel arrangements and reservations should be made by June 15, 2015. Later bookings must be approved in advance. All departures are guaranteed after written confirmation from Keytours. Prices are based on double occupancy; if traveling with a companion please provide their voucher number in addition to yours to secure your double occupancy rate. 

Deposit and Final Payment: Your purchase of a Groupon voucher for the Rome & Amalfi Coast package will act as your final payment for services booked. The single supplement charge is $400 for SEP 7, 14, 21, 28, OCT 5, 12, 19, 26, NOV 2, 9 and $300 for NOV 16, 23, 30, DEC 7. Price excludes mandatory Italian city tax which must be paid by traveler directly to the hotels.  Any additional services booked including travel insurance, additions to the itinerary, etc. must be paid for using a separate payment form. All reservations are subject to availability. Participants waive any charge-back rights and, in the event of dispute, requests for a refund must be made using the procedures described herein.

Cancellations: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing directly to Keytours Vacations. A $150 fee per person will be charged for all cancellations. The cost of all airline tickets and taxes are non-refundable after a booking is confirmed with Keytours. Additionally, the following scale of charges will apply as a percentage of total service price when notice occurs within 60 days of service start: 60-31 days prior - 20%; 30-14 days prior - 40%; 13-3 days prior - 70%; Later Cancellations and No Shows - 100%
