Rome – Pompeii – Sorrento

It is now famous for its civic buildings lining the streets that are still intact today. Some of these include the Surgeon’s House, as well as the House of Mysteries, which derives its name from the murals depicting the initiation rites of the Dionysian cult. A peculiar characteristic of Pompeii is the florid graffiti covering the walls in just about every building.  At the end of the tour, enjoy a light lunch and a wine tasting on the Vesuvius Volcano. From the wine estate you will be able to enjoy a view of the entire Gulf of Naples. (B,L)Accommodation at Hotel Regina, Hotel Crawford or Boutique Hotel Helios

Then visit an incredible “limoneto”, a cliff where lemon trees are cultivated. Pick lemons and prepare your own fresh squeezed lemonade “Amalfi style”. Later, continue to Ravello, a destination for artists, musicians, and writers, including Richard Wagner. Ravello is also famous for its villas, such as Villa Cimbrone, dating from at least the 11th century AD, and Villa Rufolo. (B)Accommodation at Hotel Regina, Hotel Crawford or Boutique Hotel Helios
