Arusha - Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your local representative and driver/guide and transferred by private vehicle to Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge (approx. 90 minutes) for your overnight stay. (D)

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast and a briefing, explore the coffee plantation on a guided bean-to-cup tour. Enjoy lunch at Arusha Lodge before being transferred to Arusha Airstrip (shared safari vehicle, approx. 10 minutes) for your flight to Kuro Airstrip, Tarangire (flight time approx. 20 minutes, ticket included). On arrival at Kuro Airstrip, you will be met by your Elewana Tarangire Treetops safari guide and transferred to the lodge (shared safari vehicle, approx. 90 minutes) with a game drive en route, arriving in time for sundowners. The 2,850 square kilometres Tarangire National Park is an integral part of the Northern Tanzania safari circuit. Tarangire is a relatively small park surrounded by private conservancies that extend it’s eco-system substantially. (B,L,D)

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before a full day of activities, which can include daytime game drives, visiting an authentic Masai village, guided bush walks, sundowners and nighttime game drives.Witness the offerings of Tarangire National Park on a game drive with an expert Elewana guide. Elewana Tarangire Treetops is a short 45 minute drive from the entrance of the national park, however, being located in a wildlife area adjacent to the park, your game drive begins as soon as you are in the car. After breakfast, explore Tarangire National Park on a game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch en route to Kuro Airstrip (shared safari vehicle, approx. 90 minutes) for your executive flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip (flight time approx. 20 minutes, ticket included).On arrival at Lake Manyara Airstrip, you will be met by your Elewana’s The Manor at Ngorongoro driver/guide and transferred to Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro (shared safari vehicle, approx. 45 minutes). Ngorongoro Region

Enjoy breakfast at Elewana’s The Manor at Ngorongoro before departing on a full day game drive exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ngorongoro Crater, including a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife, which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species, including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions, offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking, and visiting a local Masai village. Ngorongoro - Northern Serengeti

After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a game drive exploring Lake Manyara National Park before arriving at Lake Manyara Airstrip (shared safari vehicle, approx. 45 minutes from lodge to airstrip) for your executive flight to Lobo Airstrip, Serengeti (flight time approx. 1 hour, ticket included). Tanzania’s oldest and arguably, most famous national park, Serengeti covers over 14,750 square kilometres, categorised into four main areas, with landscape as diverse as the wildlife that frequents them. On arrival at Lobo Airstrip, you will be met by your Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp safari guide and transferred to camp with a game drive en route (shared safari vehicle, approx. 40 minutes).(B,L,D)

Northern Serengeti

Discover the Serengeti National Park today on a game drive followed by a bush lunch, returning to camp for sundowners and dinner. The Serengeti Plains, comprising of vast grassland plains in the south, are host to the birthing season of the migratory wildebeest from December to May, along with large populations of zebra, gazelle, hartebeest, topi, buffalo and waterbuck. Granite outcrops, known as ‘Kopjes’ dot the landscape providing refuge for animals as well as a vantage point for predators. The Western Corridor, hosting the annual migration between May and June, is a vast savannah covered with rich, black clay soil and is intersected by the riverine forest lined Grumeti River, home to Nile crocodile, Patas monkeys and hippo. The Northern Serengeti, bordering Kenya’s Masai Mara, provides exceptional migration viewing from July to August, as well as an abundance of wildlife viewing year round. (B,L,D)

Explore the Serengeti on foot this morning on a guided bush walk before breakfast. Enjoy the late morning at leisure before lunch and your transfer to Lobo Airstrip (shared safari vehicle, approx. 90 minutes) for your executive flight to Arusha Airstrip (flight time approx. 1 hour, ticket included). On arrival at Arusha Airstrip, you will be met by a local representative and transferred to Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge (shared safari vehicle, approx. 10 minutes). Refresh in your day room before your private transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (approx. 90 minutes) in time for your flight home. (B,L)
