Best of Greece Multi City Vacation

Upon arrival, you will bet met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Athens.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to your cruise ship to embark on a 4-night cruise of the Greek Islands. The ship will depart at 11:30 am to Mykonos, a sun-drenched island with white-washed, flower-decked alleyways and the famous windmills near the waterfront. Arrive in Mykonos at 6:00 pm and consider an optional excursion or explore the island on your own. The ship departs from Mykonos at 11:00 pm for an overnight cruise to Kusadasi. (B,L,D)

Arrive at the Turkish port of Kusadasi at 7:00 am and join an excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus. At 1:00 pm, continue your cruise to Patmos. Arrive in Patmos at 4:00 pm. You will have time for an optional tour or explore this island on your own. The ship departs from Patmos at 9:00 pm for an overnight cruise to Rhodes. (B,L,D)

Arrive in Rhodes, the Island of Roses, at 7:00 am. Join a medieval tour of Rhodes and visit the Acropolis of Lindos and the Citadel of the Knights. Return to Rhodes City and stroll along the Street of Knights. The ship departs from Rhodes at 6:00 pm for an overnight cruise to Crete. (B,L,D)

Arrive in Heraklion, on the fabled island of Crete, at 7:00 am. You will have time to explore the town on your own or join an optional excursion to the Palace of Knossos. At 11:30 am, proceed to the island of Santorini. Arrive in Santorini at 4:30 pm and join an excursion to Oia Village perched on the rim of the Caldera. Stroll through its marble-paved alleys, gaze at the adorably cute shops, and become acquainted with the characteristic buildings, carved into the rocks. The ship departs from Santorini at 9:00 pm for an an overnight cruise to Piraeus, Athens. Early in the morning (6:00 am), arrive in Piraeus and disembark the ship. You will be transferred from the port to your hotel. In the afternoon, join a city tour of Athens including a visit to the famed Acropolis with its breathtaking views. (B)

Depart from Athens this morning and drive past the Corinth Canal. Visit the ancient theater in Epidaurus, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. After a short stop in Nafplion, drive through the plain of Argos and arrive in Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon, depart for Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games. On the way you will pass the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Spend the night in Olympia. (B,D)

In the morning, visit the sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus, the stadium, and the archaeological museum. Then drive to Rion and cross the Corinthian Bay on the new, "state of art" suspended bridge, considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe, to Antirion. Continue along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. You will spend the night in Delphi. (B,D)

Enjoy a morning visit of the spectacular Delphi archaeological site and its museum. Then drive through the village of Arachova, renowned for its colorful rugs and carpets. In the late afternoon, arrive in Athens (around 7 pm). (B)
