Begin your journey in Athens where you will depart from en route to Olympia, home of the modern Olympic games. En route you will see the Corinth Canal, Epidaurus, Nafplion and the plains of Argos. You will have a chance to stop in Mycenae to see the Tomb of Agamemnon, Tripolis and Megalopolis. Arrive in Olympia and visit the sanctuary of Olympian Zues before continuing to Delphi. En route to this ancient city you will see the Corinthian Bay and pass over the Antirion Bridge. Arrive in Delphi and visit its many archaeological sites and museums before heading back to Athens with a drive through Arachova.ESCORTED VACATION – This escorted tour is operated locally in English. 1
Athens – Olympia
First Class: Europa Olympia or similar accommodations
Depart from Athens this morning and drive past the Corinth Canal. Visit the ancient theater in Epidaurus, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. After a short stop in Nafplion, drive through the plain of Argos and arrive in Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon, depart for Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games. On the way you will pass the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Spend the night in Olympia. (D)

2
Olympia – Delphi
First Class: Amalia Hotel Delphi or similar accommodations
In the morning, visit the sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus, the stadium, and the archaeological museum. Then drive to Rion and cross the Corinthian Bay on the new, "state of art" suspended bridge, considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe, to Antirion. Continue along the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. You will spend the night in Delphi. (B,D)

Delphi – Athens
Enjoy a morning visit of the spectacular Delphi archaeological site and its museum. Then drive through the village of Arachova, renowned for its colorful rugs and carpets. In the late afternoon, arrive in Athens (around 7 pm). (B)
