Depart this morning for Delphi via the picturesque village of Arachova and visit the archaeological site. Continue to Kalambaka - a small town situated at the foot of Meteora. Dinner and overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

This morning you will visit the Meteora Monasteries which are perched on top of huge rock formations. Continue through the striking plain of Thessaly and the valley of Tempi. Admire Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece and home of the 12 Gods in Greek mythology. You will arrive in Thessaloniki late afternoon. (B,D)
Explore Thessaloniki
Enjoy a morning tour of the second largest city of Greece and visit its unique monuments. This multicultural city offers the visitor an array of Christian churches, Byzantine monuments as well as Jewish and Ottoman cultural sites. You will have the afternoon at leisure. (B,D)
Edessa-Naoussa–Vergina-Veria
Today take a journey into Alexander’s Macedonia. At your first stop in Edessa you will visit the waterfalls. Proceed to Naoussa and visit the site where Aristotle's School taught ‘The Doctrines of Morals and Politics' to Alexander the Great and Macedonian youth. Continue to Vergina and experience its unique museum, created in the Great Tumulus covering the royal tombs of Macedonia. Your final stop will be biblical with a visit to Saint Paul's Bema and a stroll through the old Jewish neighborhood and the colorful markets. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Thessaloniki-Pella-Thermopylae-Athens
Visit Pella this morning - the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century B.C. villas and the new museum. Proceed to the Archaeological Park of Dion (sacred city of the Macedonians) for a visit. You will stop at Thermopylae to see Leonidas' Monument before arriving in Athens late in the afternoon. (B)
