Memorable Athens City Escape

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this historical city.

Today, enjoy a tour of Athens including an overview of the modern city and classical sights. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Panathenian Stadium, see vistas of the Presidential Palace, Hadrian's Arch, the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, the University, the National Library and the Temple of Nike. Visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and then the Acropolis including the amazing Parthenon. The remainder of the day is at leisure or consider joining an optional tour to Cape Sounion. (B)

Today, enjoy a full-day cruise to the three Saronic Islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. You will have between 50 min. and 2 hours on each of the islands. (B,L)

Enjoy this day at your own pace to explore this fascinating city of history. In the evening, discover the local culture through gastronomy. You will learn how to cook traditional Greek dishes with the aid of an experienced cooking instructor.
