Larnaca International Airport (LCA)

Larnaca International Airport (LCA) is the nearest airport to Agia Napa, located about 45 kilometres to the west of the city. It takes about 45-60 minutes to get to the city from the airport depending on your method of transportation and traffic. Most major hotels and resorts provide shuttle services, making it the most common and simple way to get to Agia Napa. There are also usually plenty of taxis available outside the terminal, as well as several car rental companies. It is possible to get to Agia Napa using public transport, and it is quite inexpensive, but there is no direct connection, and the trip can take significantly longer (up to about 90 minutes). Take any bus from the airport to Larnaca city centre and change to bus 711 of the intercity bus to Agia Napa at Finikoudes Promenade. Tickets can be bought directly from the driver on both buses.

Public Transport

Local buses are run by Eman, running along the length of the coast all day, from about 8am to 11pm. Services usually run every 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Buses 101 and 102 run all the way from the Water Park to Paralimni, with stops along Nissi Avenue, while bus 502 goes straight to Paralimni. Bus 201 is on the Agia Napa circle line. Single tickets and day passes are available, as well as weekly and monthly passes.

Taxi

Most ride hailing apps are not available in Cyprus, but you can use the CABCY app developed by a Cyprus-based company. With this app, you pay standard government set taxi tariffs.

Electricity

In Cyprus, you will encounter plug type is G: three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. The country operates on a 230–240V supply voltage and 50Hz.

Post

The opening hours of the post offices in Cyprus normally reflect the laid-back attitude of the entire island, being open 8:30am–1pm and 3pm–4:45pm except from May to August when the office closes at 1pm. Post offices are easy to spot thanks to the yellow sign that pops out of the wall. In the offices you will find stamps and postcards and you will be able to post letters. Mailboxes are also located throughout Cyprus and they are yellow and round-shaped. Stamps are also available in some kiosks.
