It became one of the most wonderful hotel stay experiences of my life. I stayed with my husband and children, and we had an amazing time. The butler made our stay in Bangkok incredibly comfortable and safe. When my son accidentally left his iPhone in a Grab in Phuket, he kindly helped us track it down and recover it. That level of support is truly exceptional, especially when you are in a foreign country. We really appreciated his assistance throughout our stay and also enjoyed our conversations with him. The food was absolutely delicious, the hotel has a beautiful and unique concept, and the spa was incredibly relaxing. We were completely indulged in their beautiful world.

A great boutique hotel to be pampered. Spacious and well maintained. Staff are kind, attentive and not too aggressive. Our butler is great, make all extra efforts to make our life there comfortable. The hotel private boat is a great plus to travel in Bangkok!
The Siam has some good features but is mostly a disappointment. The rooms are nice but have issues with all the fixtures being loose and wonky. The restaurant makes great food but the tables are too close and there’s very limited seating in AC and it’s very uncomfortable. The lounge area is quite bad. There are 3 sun beds and they are a few inches apart. There is no protection from the sun. The pool is a little strip. The boat staff is all unfriendly and snarl at customers. This system is not as pleasant and effortless as claimed for transportation. Facilities are mostly for show and are not useable. The caged birds are sad to see. The gym has poor equipment and layout. The corridor doors will hurt your fingers and irritate you. The butler was wonderfully proactive but vanished on my last day. Location is quite far from everything. That doesn’t mean it’s quiet. The boat noise is substantial.
The Most Sublime Stay I Have Ever Experienced Some hotels impress you. Others quietly stay with you forever. The Siam Hotel belongs to the latter, and is without question one of the most stunning hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Set on a historic stretch of the Chao Phraya River, the River of Kings, The Siam is an intimate sanctuary with only 28 suites and 10 villas. Designed by the visionary Bill Bensley, every corner feels deliberate, layered, and timeless. The property is owned by the Sukosol family, whose private collection of rare artifacts and historical pieces transforms the hotel into a living gallery rather than a place of stay. This was my first experience with The Set Collection, and it could not have been more extraordinary. The Siam holds three Michelin Keys, one of only two hotels in Bangkok and among just six in Thailand, and was ranked World’s Best Hotel number 26 in 2024. I stayed in the Courtyard Pool Villa, just one level below the iconic Riverside Pool Villa. The villa felt deeply private, calm, and residential, with its own pool tucked within a serene courtyard. Wellness here is exceptional, from treatments at Opium Spa including Margie’s Monte Carlo signature therapies, to Muay Thai sessions in a full boxing ring and a beautifully equipped gym. Days flowed into memorable dining experiences, from riverside breakfasts at Chon Thai Restaurant, to sunset moments at the pier, and refined Western dishes at Deco Bar and Bistro, where the duck confit stood out. Cruising the river on The Siam’s private boat was one of my favorite moments, slow, intimate, and unforgettable. Above everything, it was the people. The butler service was intuitive, warm, and deeply personal. This is hospitality at its purest form.
Loved our high tea experience in this magical place We had our high tea which is great as it starts at 12:00 noon ; Service was perfect, the savoury and sweet were delicious and tea was at good hot temperature The place is like a museum and you feel like roaming around and visit the huge house. We’ve been till the pier and had very nice time visiting the library, the corridor… the owner is caring about every details and all the objects he had has been selected with care, love and taste
