You will explore vibrant Buenos Aires and then depart for Puerto Madryn, your gateway to Peninsula Valdés, a UNESCO World Heritage Site significant for the conservation of marine mammals. You will travel the peninsula, its rocky cliffs and sandy beaches, and view its penguin and elephant seal colonies. You will also visit beautiful Victoria Island, the orange and cinnamon forests of Arrayanes on the Quetrihué Peninsula and the dazzling Perito Moreno Glacier.

Buenos Aires - Arrival
First Class: NH Crillon or similar accommodations
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. Enjoy an afternoon city tour of Buenos Aires. You will visit the glamorous neighborhoods of Recoleta and its most famous cemetery, Palermo, May Square and the Pink House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the newest & trendiest Puerto Madero Area and many other emblematic buildings and palaces of unique architectural, historical, and cultural value. Before returning to your hotel see the pintoresque neighborhood of San Telmo, and Caminito Street, in the colorful, Italian immigrants neighborhood of La Boca.

Today is free to explore this fascinating city. You may wish to consider a full day Gaucho tour of a traditional ranch. Tonight you will join a dinner and Tango show. (B)

Buenos Aires - Puerto Madryn
First Class: Territorio Hotel or similar accommodations
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Trelew (not included). Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Puerto Madryn. Join an optional afternoon tour to Gaiman and the MEF Museum. (B)

Peninsula Valdes

In Punta Norte, 100 miles from Puerto Madryn, you will find San Lorenzo Ranch. Since 1906, this property has sheltered one of the most populated penguin colonies in Peninsula Valdes. From September to April, thousands of these curious birds start their breeding ritual in this old ranch, located in the National Protected Area. We will travel the peninsula to admire its typical landscapes, including rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, isles and shallow bays. We will take a trip to Puerto Piramides, a small village that offers the opportunity to practice whale watching from July to the beginning of December (optional). Further down, in Caleta Valdes, we will also have an amazing sight of an elephant seal colony. Overnight in Puerto Madryn. (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred to Trelew Airport for your flight to Bariloche (not included). Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Bariloche for your overnight stay. (B)

Today you will visit Victoria Island. Behind its impressive and steep cliffs, Victoria Island boasts a variety of animal and vegetal species, and centenarian cave paintings. Continue to the Quetrihue Peninsula. With its characteristic cinnamon smell, stony and frozen tree barks, and its famous wooden house, the Arrayanes Forest is a unique tree formation, declared a Natural Monument. Enjoy a short walk along an easy path. (B)

Join a tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier today. It is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle. Your first breathtaking stop will be at “Curva de los Suspiros” (Curve of Sighs). You will walk down wooden catwalks to approach the glacier and admire it from different panoramic points. This day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight. (B)
