The Northern Argentina Explorer package visits three cities: Buenos Aires for 3 nights, Salta for 5 nights, and Iguazu Falls for 3 nights. Each location offers a unique experience, from the vibrant culture of Buenos Aires to the scenic beauty of Salta and the awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls.
The package includes private transfers with a driver and English-speaking assistant, accommodations of your choice, and sightseeing tours and activities of your choice. Additionally, 24-hour emergency assistance is provided. However, items of a personal nature, select local taxes, and travel insurance are not included.
Travel between the cities is facilitated by flights. You will fly from Buenos Aires to Salta and then from Salta to Iguazu Falls. Private transfers with a driver and English-speaking assistant are provided to and from the airports, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
In Salta, you can explore its rich Hispanic architecture and vibrant local markets. Highlights include day trips to the Salinas Grandes salt flats and the colorful Quebrada de Humahuaca, as well as visits to Cafayate for wine tasting and Cachi for its charming streets and colonial architecture.
At Iguazu Falls, you'll explore both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides, experiencing the majestic waterfalls from various viewpoints. In Buenos Aires, you have ample free time to explore at your own pace. After your arrival, the rest of the day is at your leisure, and you can choose from various activities such as visiting historic neighborhoods, enjoying tango shows, or exploring local cuisine on the following days.
The weather in Northern Argentina varies by region. Buenos Aires experiences a temperate climate, with warm summers and mild winters. Salta, in the Andean foothills, has a dry climate with warm days and cooler nights. Iguazu Falls, located in a subtropical region, is warm and humid, with frequent rainfall, especially during the summer months.
