1

Cairo - Arrival

Upon arrival to Cairo airport, meet with your driver for your private transfer to your hotel for check-in. At your hotel, your guide will assist you with check-in and review your itinerary with you. Enjoy the remainder of the evening and dinner at your leisure.

Discover Cairo

This morning you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby to begin your full day exploring the Great Pyramids and their guardian, the Sphinx. Explore the wonders of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinos and the mysteries within their chambers. Following some free time for lunch, you will continue your afternoon with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, housing treasures from the pre-dynastic period to the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms of Pharaonic Egypt. Don't miss the famous exhibit of Tut Ankhamon and the royal mummy room during your visit. This evening, you may return to your hotel or take an optional camel ride at sunset to the Great Pyramids, followed by a Bedoin Dinner. You may also consider watching the Sound and Light Show, performed on the side of the Giza Pyramids. (B)

Cairo - Aswan

Following breakfast, meet your driver at your hotel for a private transfer to the airport for your short flight to Aswan (ticket included). Upon arrival in Aswan, you will meet your guide for assistance at the airport and to begin your tour of the amazing city. You'll begin with a tour of the High Dam, an engineering marvel built in 1960. Next, witness the Unfinished Obelisk and the majestic Philae Temple, built in honor of the goddess Isis. After your tour, you will be transferred to your cruise ship for embarkation and lunch on board. This afternoon, you will have the chance to take a ride on a typical Egyptian sail boat, known as a felucca, around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener's Botanical Gardens and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Tonight, enjoy dinner on board with a live Nubian folklore show. (B,L,D)

Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on board before visiting the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Return to your boat for lunch on board as you enjoy the spectacular Nile River scenery on your way to Edfu. Upon arrival in Edfu, you will visit the Temple of Horus, considered to be one of the most beautiful and preserved temples in Egypt. Following your visit, return to the ship for high tea and some much deserved relaxation before your on board Oriental and Egyptian costume party! This exhilarating evening of festivities includes a lavish dinner buffet of oriental and Egyptian specialties set to the sounds of regional music and dancing. (B,L,D)

Edfu - Luxor

This morning, your Egyptologist guide will lead you around the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings. You will have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. One the way back to the Nile, you will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn. Return to your ship for lunch on board and then continue your afternoon with a visit to the striking Temple of Luxor, dedicated to the god Amun, and the famed Temple of Karnak. Relax with afternoon tea on board before dinner and a belly dancing show. (B,L,D)

Luxor - Hurghada

Enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking your cruise for a private drive to Hurghada (approx. 3 hrs). Upon arrival, check-in to your beachside resort and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel. (B,D)

Discover Hurghada

Today you will have the opportunity to go snorkeling among the Read Sea coral reefs to see vibrant tropical fish, or you may wish to simply relax on the shore. For the more adventurous, we recommend an optional excursion into the desert dunes on a quad bike. Tonight, dinner will be served at your hotel. (B,D)

Hurghada - Cairo

After breakfast, meet your driver at your hotel for a private transfer to the airport for your short flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, your private transfer will take you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is at your leisure to explore Cairo or visit one of the many landmarks you may have missed. (B)

Cairo - Return

Enjoy a final Egyptian breakfast at your hotel before meeting your driver for a private transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
