After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your short flight to Luxor, Egypt’s open-air museum and gateway to the Nile. Upon arrival, you are escorted to your luxury cruise ship, where check-in begins just after midday. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board before heading out to explore the East Bank, home to the awe-inspiring Karnak and Luxor Temples. Walking among colossal columns and illuminated reliefs offers a powerful introduction to ancient Thebes. Return to the ship in the early evening for refined lounge entertainment, followed by an elegant dinner on board. Your first night is spent docked in Luxor, surrounded by history and comfort. 

Begin the day with breakfast on board before crossing to Luxor’s West Bank for an expertly guided visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. Continue to the dramatic Temple of Hatshepsut, rising gracefully from desert cliffs, and pause at the Colossi of Memnon, standing watch over the Nile floodplain. Return to the ship for lunch before setting sail toward Esna, marking the start of your scenic Nile journey. The afternoon features a visit to the cruise wheelhouse, followed by traditional afternoon tea. As evening falls, enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner on board, and overnight sailing to Esna.
