A Private 12-Day Journey Through Cape Town, the Winelands and Sanbona

Arrive in Cape Town, where ocean, mountain, and city come together in spectacular harmony. Upon landing, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our Guest Service Officer, easily identified by a name board in the arrivals terminal. As airport experts, we ensure a seamless start to your journey, coordinating transfers, onward connections, or any airport needs with ease. A private transfer then escorts you to your luxury hotel or waterfront residence. Settle in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon, perhaps with a gentle stroll along the vibrant V&A Waterfront. As evening falls, sip cocktails with views of iconic Table Mountain before dining at one of Cape Town’s acclaimed restaurants — a perfect introduction to the city’s world-class hospitality and culinary scene.

Today is yours to explore at your own pace. Wander through art galleries, visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, or enjoy a cooking class featuring Cape Malay flavors. Alternatively, spend the day in nearby Constantia, South Africa’s oldest wine valley. Return to your hotel for a final evening in the city, savoring the rhythm of Cape Town as the sun sets over the Atlantic.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, the day is yours to spend at leisure discovering the charm of Stellenbosch at your own pace. Wander through the historic town center with its oak-lined streets and Cape Dutch architecture, browse local boutiques and art galleries, or relax at one of the many cafés and wine bars. You may choose to visit nearby wine estates, enjoy a casual tasting, or simply soak up the relaxed atmosphere of the Winelands. For nature lovers, gentle walks and scenic viewpoints are easily accessible, while food enthusiasts will find no shortage of excellent dining options. Lunch and dinner are at leisure and for your own account. Overnight in the Winelands

Depart the Winelands and travel east into the Little Karoo, where rugged mountains and open plains replace vineyards and villages. Arrive at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, a 3-hour scenic drive from Franschhoek. Check into your luxury lodge or tented camp overlooking the vast wilderness. After lunch, set out on your first evening game drive, watching the sun dip behind the mountains as antelope, giraffes, and elephants graze in the fading light. Dinner is served under the stars beside a roaring fire.

Spend your final full day immersed in nature. Early morning light casts golden hues across the reserve as you encounter wildlife at its most active. Return for brunch and quiet relaxation. This afternoon, enjoy a photographic safari or birdwatching excursion. Your last evening features a private dinner on the deck — a celebration of your journey through South Africa’s city, wine, and wilderness.
