Arrival - Casablanca – Rabat

Welcome to Casablanca! Upon arrival at Casablanca International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and will be driven  to the accomomdation of your choice in Rabat. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Rabat - Chefchaouen

Superior First Class: Lyna Ryad and Spa or similar accommodations

This morning embark on your private tour to visit the royal city including the Mohamed V Museum followed by a private walking tour of picturesque Almohad and northern walls of the Oudaïa Kasbah. In the afternoon, continue your drive by private car to reach the blue city of Chefchaouen (approx. 169 miles, 4 hrs) situated between two peaks of the Rif Mountains. (B)

Chefchaouen – Meknes - Fez

Superior First Class: Barcelo Fes Medina or similar accommodations

After breakfast, visit the blue city; it’s color, a gorgeous blue tint that covers not only Chefchaouen’s houses but its mosques, government buildings and public squares, comes from a custom that dates back to the 15th century. After your visit, travel to the imperial city of Meknes (approx. 123 miles, 3.5 hrs), which was founded by the Almoravid Dynasty in the 11th century, by private vehicle, and then continue to Fez (approx. 40 miles, 1 hr), the spiritual capital of Morocco. (B)

Fez

Superior First Class: Barcelo Fes Medina or similar accommodations

After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to the city of Fez, the most ancient imperial city, founded by Idriss I and his son Moulay Idris II. Explore the medieval Medina with its Medersas (religious Islamic universities) Attarine and Bou anania, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Moulay Idriss II mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. You might even have the opportunity to visit the Palace of Pacha Galaoui, generally closed to the public (not included). After lunch in the medina (not included), continue to Fez Jdid (new Fez), and then back to the hotel. (B)

Fez – Midelt – Merzouga

Superior First Class: Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp or similar accommodations

After breakfast, head in the direction of Midelt (approx. 123miles, 3 hrs) passing through Ifrane, one of the most curious towns in Morocco because of its alpine architecture and European ambience. Visit the cedar forest of Azrou, famous for one cedar named Gouraud; the largest ancient cedar of the region. This forest is home to hundreds of Barbary monkeys, which you may feed if you wish. Your route continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains for a chance to enjoy the landscapes that this route offers. Travel through the pass of Tizi Talghemt, meaning Neck of the Camel, on your route to Erfoud and Errachidia. Along the way, travel through Ziz Valley; a beautiful landscape with red gorges that contrast with the green of the valley. Its long belts of oasis flooded palm groves, its majestic adobe kasbahs and its fortified towns make it a landscape worth admiring. By the end of the afternoon you will arrive in Merzouga (approx. 165 miles, 4 hrs from Midelt). You can witness for yourself the silence of the desert, surrounded by miles and miles of fine sand. Enjoy the sunset in the middle of the golden dunes and spend an unforgettable night in a Berber camp, enjoying tea and a nomadic dinner. (B,D)

Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley - Ouarzazate

The early morning sunrise is something not to be missed, so don’t ignore your wakeup call! This is a magical time as the dawn breaks and the sun chases away the night. The colors shift as the light moves silently across the golden dunes, making this a very special and memorable moment. After breakfast, enjoy a camel ride through the dunes. Later, continue to Rissani (approx. 26 miles, 45 min) where you will stop to visit the bustling market before continuing in the direction of Erfoud (approx. 14 miles, 30 min), where you will visit the fossil factory. Continue to the spectacular and impressive Todra Gorges (approx. 88 miles, 2 hrs), which offer a canyon with vertical walls of reddish without any hustle and bustle of people; the perfect place to stroll and admire nature in its purest form. Afterwards, drive along the valley until you reach Ouarzazate (approx. 106 miles, 2.5 hrs). (B,D)

Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

Superior First Class: Riad Dar Justo or similar accommodations

Begin the day by exploring Ouarzazate and the famous Ait Benhaddou UNESCO World Heritage Center (approx. 18 miles, 30 min) with buildings which served as the set of such movies as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, then continue to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountain pass of Tizi n´Tichka (approx. 44 miles, 1.5 hrs) down to the plains of Haouz. The route passes many Berber villages and is a particularly twisty road that offers spectacular panoramic sites. Upon arrival in Marrakesh (approx. 66 miles, 2.5 hrs), check-in to your hotel for the remainder of the evening at your leisure. (B)

Marrakesh

Superior First Class: Riad Dar Justo or similar accommodations

Today, embark on a full day of private touring on foot in Marrakech with your guide. Visit the magnificently decorated 16th century Saadian Tombs and roam through the old Kasbah and the Jewish Quarter until you arrive at the exquisite Bahia Palace with its incredible zellij tile work and carved cedar ceilings. Admire the tallest structure in the Marrakech medina, the beautiful Koutoubia Mosque and enjoy lunch (not included) in the medina. In the afternoon, enjoy an intimate visit of the old medina of Marrakech with your guide, far from the tourist paths, where you will have the opportunity to see unusual places not usually visited by tourists. (B)

Marrakesh - Departure

Check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the approximate 35-minute transfer to Cairo International Airport where you will check-in for your onward flight.
