Welcome to Sicily! Upon arrival at the Catania airport, you can pick up your rental car and head to Catania for afternoon exploration. Start your journey by visiting the historic Benedictine convent and Roman house, and make sure not to miss the charming roof garden and cloisters. After your visit, you'll have the remainder of the afternoon to explore the enchanting Piazza Duomo, marvel at the Fontana dell'Elefante, and take a leisurely stroll down elegant Via Etnea Avenue. Later in the day, drive to Taormina and check into your hotel. Overnight in Taormina.

Taormina offers a wealth of activities to enjoy, and there is always something to enjoy or explore! Today, you can indulge in various experiences. You may opt for a delightful sailing excursion under the Mediterranean sun. Alternatively, you can set out on a drive to explore the iconic "The Godfather" movie set villages of Savoca and Forza, or embark on a journey up the legendary volcanic mountain, Etna. Along the way, make sure to visit the charming village of Zafferana Etnae, where you can savor delicious volcanic wine and sample the local cuisine. Overnight in Taormina.

Taormina - Ragusa via Lentini

Today, start your day early in the morning and head inland towards your next destination, Ragusa. Along the way, make a stop in the quaint town of Lentini for a traditional lunch featuring duck paired with the local wine "Black of Avola." Don't forget to explore the charming Church of St. Luke, adorned with beautiful paintings. Upon reaching Ragusa, take your time to leisurely explore this enchanting city. Visit the Baroque gem, the Church of Duomo di San Giorgio, stroll through the serene Botanical Garden Giardino Ibleo, and marvel at the Gothic masterpiece, Santa Maria delle Scale. Alternatively, you can opt for a visit to the picturesque Baroque town of Modica, which harbors ancient secrets waiting to be discovered. Explore the stunning St. Giorgio Cathedral and delve into the fascinating world of chocolate at the Civico Cacao Museum. Check out from your hotel this morning and embark on a drive to Catania Airport onto your next destination. Before reaching the airport, take the time to explore Noto, known for its graceful 18th-century architecture. Continue your journey to Siracusa, a city once hailed by Cicero as "the most magnificent city of the ancient times." Be sure to visit the historic and centrally located Ortigia before making your way to Catania Ariport.
