After breakfast, set out for some of the unique experiences: This tour will highlight the unique sport of Pigeon Flying around the walled city of Shahjehanbad, the old Mughal capital. In fact, it was the Mughal rulers who were great patrons of this craft as a means of communication with people of eminence in their kingdom. Kabooter baaz, the pigeon handlers, from Turkistan and Persia (Iran), where this sport was an old pastime, were welcomed at the Mughal court and were, in fact, instrumental in raising it to a fine art for communication. Visit Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi followed by a Rickshaw ride. Then visit Railway Museum (closed on Mondays) has a fascinating and exotic collection of over 100 real-size exhibits of Indian Railways. Static and working models, signalling equipment, antique furniture, historical photographs and related literature etc. are displayed in the museum. The star attraction here is the Fairy Queen, built in 1855 and considered one of her age's best-preserved steam locomotive engines. A ride in a joy train and mono rail (PSMT) is the most exciting experience besides boating. Afterwards, visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites). Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (the residence of the President of India), and visit India Gate, a memorial to the 82,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in the First World War. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

A 02-hours visit to the Elephant Conservation & Care Centre will provide you with the opportunity of a lifetime; to meet and interact with rescued elephants and to learn more about the Earth’s largest land mammal. After that, we will drive to Agra and check-in at your hotel. You will visit Agra's sights in the afternoon, such as the impressive Mogul Agra Fort. Known as the Red Fort of Agra, this walled imperial city was founded in 1565 by the emperor Akbar (1556-1605) and is a well-deserving UNESCO World Heritage site, located just 2.5 kilometres from the famous Taj Mahal. Its palaces, grand mosques and elaborate public hall are crafted from pink-red sandstone and are a testament to an era when Indo-Muslim art, strongly marked by influences from Persia, was at its height. Emperor Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal for his deceased wife, was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb in Agra Fort. He is said to have died in the Musamman Burj, a marble tower he himself built, with one of the most alluring views of the Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra. (B)

A highlight in the province of Uttar Pradesh, Fatehpur Sikri served briefly as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585.
