India Golden Triangle Private Journey

Welcome to Delhi! Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be met by your private driver and driven approximately 1-hour to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart to explore the old charm of India's, culture and tradition, whereas fascinating New Delhi exhibits the picture of modern India. The tour will begin with a visit to the Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. Drive past the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in the 17th century. Also visit the Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.  After proceeding to New Delhi, the first stop will be a UNESCO World Heritage site - Qutub Minar, the second tallest Minar in India.  It is made of red stone and marble covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an. Later visit the 16th-century Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent, an outstanding monument in the Indo-Persian style and a precursor of the Taj Mahal. The tour to Imperial Delhi will also include a drive past India Gate, the 42 m high War Memorial Arch, the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive approximately 3-hours and 30-minutes to Agra, the city is known by all as the home of the iconic Taj Mahal, which is still associated with the Mughals. Check-in at the hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure.  In the evening, visit Artisan's trails that have long been associated with its artisan heritage. If anything reminds you of the immense wealth of its crafting traditions you have to look at how the Mughals advantaged on it…whether it was emperor Babur and the stone craft of Agra Fort, the exquisite work in marble and Pacchikari: stone inlay on the Taj Mahal, or the splendid work on the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah or the Baby Taj as it’s called for its impressive architecture, stone inlay and fantastic marble lattice screens and fine carvings, at nearby Sikandra. Early in the morning, depart to observe the sunrise of the Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for breakfast and proceed to  Agra's sights, such as the impressive Mogul Red Fort. The Red Fort is an excellent preview of visiting the Taj Mahal in the morning — the two were built during the same period and have much-shared history. Then you will have free time to explore the local markets. (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Jaipur for a 5-hour and 30-minute drive.  En-route to visit,  Fatehpur Sikri - A highlight in the province of Uttar Pradesh, Fatehpur Sikri served briefly as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at your hotel. In the evening,  proceed to evening bazaars for food tasting and observing local life. (B)

After an early breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur and visit the hilltop fortress at Amber. En-route to Amber Fort you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds. Then you will spend time with the Elephants, where you get to feed them; paint them, and learn more about these gentle giants from their Mahout. The experience includes feeding the elephants, learning about them and their daily lives including showering the elephants and then concluding by taking a walk alongside these majestic creatures around the farm.  In the afternoon, pay a visit to Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century. After visiting the City Palace drive back to the hotel. (B)

After breakfast, you will enjoy an approximately 5-hour scenic and comfortable drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight. (B)

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the approximate 1-hour transfer to the Delhi International Airport where you will check-in for your onward flight. (B)
