Embark on your voyage in the city of Dubronik where you will join a walking tour of the old town. See sights such as the Rector's Palace and a Franciscan Monastery and apothecary. Take in some fresh air in the Mljet National Park with 5 different forest types and 2 deep lakes, not to mention the native flora and fauna. Next, visit Maro Polo's birth place and home of the prehistoric port Vela Luka, Korcula Island. Tour an olive oil factory, the Barilo Ethno Museum and a local winery for a wine and cheese tasting, plus a city walking tour where you will see the beautiful Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. You will have an opportunity to enjoy free time on the Island of Vis, founded in 397 B.C. Continue your journey in Hvar where you can see the first public theater in Europe and another example of a Franciscan Monastery. End your trip in Split with a walking tour of the historic city center and a swim in the Golden Horn via Bol on the Island of Brac.

1

Dubrovnik – Arrival – Embark Cruise

You will be met at the airport or your Dubrovnik hotel and transferred to your cruise ship to embark on your 8-day cruise (check-in starts at 12:00 pm). (Night supplements will be charged for early morning/late evening transfers.) Get settled in your cabin before attending a welcome reception in the evening.

Dubrovnik – Mljet

Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the "Pearl of the Adriatic" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Rector's Palace and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy before returning to the boat for lunch. As you dine, set sail for Mljet Island. Mljet National Park features 5 types of forest, many species of birds, and 2 deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). This lovely island supposedly was a favorite holiday spot for the Greek hero Ulysses. The evening is at leisure. (B,L)

Mljet – Korcula

In the morning, enjoy the spectacular scenery before heading to Korcula Island, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Take a walking tour through Korcula town's narrow, cobbled streets and visit the majestic Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. (B,L)

Korcula – Vela Luka

Sail along the beautiful Island of Korcula and enjoy some free time for swimming. After lunch on board, disembark in Vela Luka (the “big harbor”), dating back to prehistoric times. Depart on an afternoon island tour, visiting an olive oil factory, the Barilo Ethno Museum, and a local winery for wine and cheese tasting. Return to your ship for an evening at leisure. (B,L)

Vela Luka – Vis

Cruise towards the Island of Vis. Visit the town of Vis, founded around 397 B.C., and see its waterfront. The evening is at leisure. (B,L)

Vis – Hvar – Stari Grad

Continue your cruise towards to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. Take a sightseeing tour of Hvar town featuring the first public theater in Europe, the Franciscan Monastery, and many more historical sights. Sail on to Stari Grad for the night. This evening, enjoy a Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment. (B,L,D)

Stari Grad – Bol (Brac) – Split

Set sail towards Bol, a small town on the Island Brac, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 1,740-foot-long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Over lunch on board, continue sailing to Split. Enjoy a guided walking tour and visit the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, it’s Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the cathedral. Your evening is at leisure. (B,L)

Split – Disembark Cruise – Return

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Split airport or your Split hotel. (Night supplements will be charged for early morning/late evening transfers.) (B)
