Dubrovnik-Arrival

Welcome to Dubrovnik! Upon arrival at the Dubrovnik Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Dubrovnik

Today, discover Dubrovnik at your pace or consider taking a private walking tour. Walk the city walls, visit the Franciscan Monastery, Dubrovnik Cathedral and its extraordinary treasury, and other highlights of this beautiful city. With cobblestone streets, marble pavements, arguably the finest medieval city walls in the world, and cafes and little shops tucked in every nook and corner, the Dubrovnik is an explorer’s delight.

Dubrovnik

Today is yours at leisure to explore the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” as the city is known. Or you may choose a private full day excursion to Montenegro, Korcula, or Mali Ston and Peliesac.

Dubrovnik - Split

In the morning pick up rental vehicle at the hotel and begin your journey across Croatia. Drive approximately 3-hours and 15-minutes along the Adriatic coast to Split, enjoying stunning views of the sparkling sea. Upon arrival in Split, check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day seeing this lovely and historic city.

Today, discover Split with over 17 centuries of history. An optional walking tour will take you through the ancient city takes you through time, as you pass great examples of ancient architecture like Peristyle, the Medieval Romanesque Church and Gothic Palace, Renaissance portals of the noblemen’s houses, Baroque facades and modern architecture superbly merged together, creating a rich heritage.

Split - Plitvice

In the morning, depart for Plitvice Lakes National Park and drive approximately 2-hours and 25-minutes. Upon arrival, enjoy a private sightseeing tour of this stunning natural wonder. Wander wooden promenades overlooking 16 crystal-clear blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Every turn leads to breathtaking views of waterfalls and lush forests. The afternoon is at your leisure to savor the beauty of Plitvice.

Plitvice - Postojna Cave - Ljubljana

In the morning, depart for Ljubljana via Postojna Cave and drive approximately 4-hours. A cave more than 24 kilometres long and 2 million years old, Postojna Cave is one of the most famous caves in the world. Visitors can take a 90-minute tour a train to see some of the cave’s incredible tunnels, halls, and caverns as well as learn about the history and geology of the cave. After exploring the cave, continue on to Ljubljana to check in to your hotel.

Ljubljana

Enjoy your day at leisure to discover Slovenia’s charming capital Ljubljana. Wander the lovely medieval streets of Old Town, cross the famous Triple Bridge, or ride the funicular up to Ljubljana Castle while enjoying the spectacular views. Or, you may want to take an excursion to Lake Bled, approximately 45 minutes from Ljubljana.

Ljubljana - Zagreb

In the morning, depart for Zagreb and drive approximately 2-hours. The capital of Croatia, Zagreb illustrates both the continental and Mediterranean spirit of the nation as its cultural, scientific, political, and economic center. Over the centuries, Zagreb has been inhabited by people from all over Europe, ensuring a rich and diverse culture. The façades of Zagreb’s buildings reflect the ebb and flow of history, while its streets and squares bear witness to the coming together of the many cultures that have shaped the identity of this laid-back capital. One of the most fun things to do is people watching while having coffee at a cafe. Drinking coffee is an important ritual in Croatia and you will have many opportunities in Zagreb to experience it. Strolling the streets is a wonderful way to get a feeling for this lovely city. Explore the city on your own, or choose an optional private sightseeing tour.

Zagreb - Return

Say “Dovidenja!” to Croatia and drive approximately 20-minutes to Zagreb Airport where you will return rental vehicle, check-in your onward flight.
