Frankfurt – Arrival

You will be transferred to your hotel in Frankfurt upon arrival. (Your arrival transfer is included only if you arrive on the actual day the tour commences. For customers arriving earlier an individual transfer can be organized at an additional cost.) The rest of the day is at leisure. Frankfurt is the financial and commercial heart of Germany, a city full of fascinating contrasts between modern development and historic landmarks.

Frankfurt – Rüdesheim – St. Goar – Cologne

In the morning, depart for Rüdesheim. Enjoy a short tour of the historic center. Next, board a ship and sail along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine - the Lorelei Valley. After disembarking in St. Goar, continue to Cologne by bus. (B)

Cologne – Hamburg

After breakfast, depart for Hamburg. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city on the Elbe River. Hamburg is known for its elegant historic boulevards, its impressive port - the second largest in Europe, and the famous St. Pauli neighborhood. (B)

Hamburg – Berlin

In the morning, you have time to relax or explore the city at your leisure. In the afternoon, continue to Berlin. The capital of Germany, Berlin is the artistic center of the country with a large number of museums, art galleries and theater shows. (B)

Explore Berlin

In the morning, visit Berlin’s many well-known historic locations such as Unter den Linden avenue, the State Opera and the Brandenburg Gate. There will also be time to explore the modern parts of the city, such as the German Parliament and Potsdamer Platz square. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. (B)

Berlin – Potsdam – Erfurt

After breakfast, depart for Potsdam. The city is set on a natural island, surrounded by tributaries and channels of the Havel River. Visit the Sanssouci Palace and park. In the afternoon, continue to Erfurt, known as "Thuringian Rome" because of its architectural beauty. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and visit the largest wooden bridge in Europe. (B)

Erfurt – Frankfurt

In the morning, you are free to explore Erfurt at your leisure. Consider visiting the Wartburg. In the afternoon, continue to Frankfurt for your last overnight near the airport. (B)
