Explore Frankfurt

First Class: Cult Frankfurt City or similar accommodations

Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to spend at your leisure. At this special time of year, you can visit several Christmas Markets in the city: in Romerberg, on the Paulsplatz, on Mainkai, in Hauptwache or on the Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz. You can also make the most of your visit of Frankfurt by discovering the Goethe House, the birthplace of this great German poet, or go shopping on the famous commercial street Zeil. Overnight in Frankfurt.

Frankfurt - Wurzburg - Rothenburg ob der Tauber

First Class: Altes Brauhaus or similar accommodations

Travel from Franfkurt to Wurzburg and enjoy a sightseeing tour of a city with more than 1300 years of history. The old residence of Wurzberg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the most beautiful city along the famous Romantic route. Its small streets and historic buildings will remind you of medieval times. Visit the city and tour the Christmas market. Overnight in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. (B)

Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Nuremberg

First Class: Intercity Nuremberg or similar accommodations

Continue to Nuremberg, an old city of historic importance, but also of cultural significance and all the more charming during the holiday season. Explore the city and discover the old town and the several places full of the magic of Christmas. The Christkindlesmarket, Nuremberg’s Christmas market, is one of the most famous markets in Germany. With almost 400 years of history, the market draws more than 2 million visitors a year. One should not miss the opportunity to find the perfect Christmas gifts and taste some traditional German pastries with a warm cup of Gluhwein, German hot wine punch. Overnight in Nuremberg. (B)

Nuremberg - Dresden

In the morning, depart to Dresden, one of the most beautiful cities in Germany and a combination of tradition and modern times which shaped the culture and charm of the city. Visit the famous Striezelmarkt Christmas market, which was first documented in 1434. Every year more than 2.5 million people visit Dresen’s Altmarkt square to soak up the bustling atmosphere and holiday spirit. Overnight in Dresden. (B)

Dresden - Berlin

First Class: NH Kufurstendamm or similar accommodations

Take a morning city tour of Dresden and visit the recently restored Frauenkirche church, the famous Dresden Opera House, the Imperial Zwinger Palace and enjoy a stroll along the Elbe River. Around noon, start toward Berlin. The German capital is one of the most important cities in Europe, thanks to its cultural dynamic and numerous historical sites. Here you will visit one of many Christmas markets in this impressive capital city. Overnight in Berlin. (B)

Explore Berlin

First Class: NH Kufurstendamm or similar accommodations

You will start the day with a visit to the TV Tower for a spectacular view over the capital. Afterwards, visit Berlin’s many well-known historic locations, like Under den Linden Avenue, the State Opera and the Brandenburg Gate. You will also have time to explore the modern parts of the city, such as the German Parliament and Potsdam Square. The afternoon is free to explore the city at your leisure to enjoy the last day in Germany during this most festive time of year. Overnight in Berlin. (B)
