Taste of Frankfurt Escapade

Upon arrival, meet your driver for a private transfer to your selected hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Frankfurt’s city center at your own pace. Consider a stroll through the city on the shores of the Rhine River.

Walk along the shores of the Main River, with its lovely museums, and explore Fressgass street, the old Opera and the elegant Goethestrasse Street. On this route, you will also find the Goethe House, St. Paul’s Church and the Hauptwache with fabulous views overlooking the city. Around noon, enjoy a delicious lunch (not included) at the Maintower. The afternoon is free to enjoy Frankfurt at your leisure. (B)

This morning, enjoy a private city highlights tour of Heidelberg, in the south of Germany. Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country due to its perfect geographical location on the shores of the Neckar River. Visit the famous ruins of Heidelberg Castle with its unique combination of Gothic and Renaissance style. Afterwards, continue to the historical old town that still preserves its medieval look; admire the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) and the Church of the Holy Spirit. Start your return journey through the Odenwald Forest with its small and idyllic villages. (B)
