Upon arrival to Geneva, you will travel by train to Montreux. The city is nestled in a sheltered bay on Lake Geneva, surrounded by vineyards, at the foot of the beautiful snowcapped Alps. Overnight in Montreux.

Christmas in Montreux

First Class: Suisse Majestic or similar accommodations

You don’t have to travel to Lapland or the North Pole to meet Santa Claus! In the morning, pick up your train tickets at the MOB counter at the train station and travel to the home of St. Nick. The old train runs to the top of the mountain and offers spectacular views. This dream trip is not just for the little ones. In the afternoon, there is free time to visit the traditional Montreux Christmas market on the shores of Lake Geneva. Each night, Santa Claus visits the Christmas market to the delight of all visitors. Overnight in Montreux. (B)

Montreaux - Chillon Castle

Enjoy some free time to visit the Chillon Castle (entry fee not included). You can reach the famoust castle on foot, by bus or by boat. Located on a rocky outcrop on the shores of Lake Geneva, Chillon Castle is one of the most visited historic buildings in Switzerland. Overnight in Montreux. (B)
