Arrival - Hakone
Welcome to the scenic retreat of Hakone! Upon your arrival at Odawara Railway Station, a transfer will take you to your selected hotel, where you can settle in and start to relax. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace. Wander through the charming streets of Hakone-Yumoto, known for its quaint shops and traditional tea houses. If you're ready to unwind, take a dip in a traditional onsen (hot spring) at your hotel or visit a local onsen spa to soothe your travel fatigue amidst stunning natural surroundings.

Hakone
Today is your chance to fully explore Hakone’s beauty and attractions. Start your day with a visit to Hakone Shrine, nestled along the shores of Lake Ashi, where the iconic red torii gate stands against the backdrop of lush forests and shimmering waters. Next, head to the Hakone Open Air Museum, an extraordinary blend of art and nature, where you can admire sculptures by renowned artists amid stunning mountain views. For a touch of adventure, hop on the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani, an active volcanic valley. Here, you can sample the famous black eggs boiled in the sulfuric hot springs, said to add years to your life. Later, take a cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a replica pirate ship, offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji on clear days. Wrap up your day with a stroll through the Hakone Gora Park, known for its beautifully landscaped gardens and serene tea houses, or explore the quaint Pola Museum of Art, which houses an impressive collection of Western and Japanese artworks.
