In the morning, join an optional small group sightseeing tour and explore Istanbul’s imperial heritage including the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace (closed on Tue, replaced with Istanbul Archaeology Museum; entrance to the harem not included), the Hippodrome, Underground Cistern, Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar (closed on Sun). Join this morning a half-day cruise of the Bosphorus included in your program. Enjoy this magical city from the sea and sail past the Golden Horn forming a natural harbor which sheltered Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman ships for thousands of years. (B)

Istanbul-Cappadocia

You will be transferred early in the morning to the airport for your flight to Kayseri in Cappadocia (included). Upon arrival you will visit the Rose Valley, and explore the famous rock- cut churches. You will have lunch in Cavusin, an old Greek village, known for its Christian houses and churches. In the afternoon you will visit Kaymakli Underground City and the panoramic Pigeon Valley. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L)

Cappadocia

Today you can join and optional tour of Cappadocia and visit Devrent Valley with its Fairy Chimneys and Pasabagi. Drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. After lunch you will proceed to Goreme Open Air Museum to visit the churches, chapels and monasteries carved into the rock. (B)
