Turkey and Egypt Familiarization Tour

International flight on Turkish Airlines to Istanbul.

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Istanbul Raffles hotel. Welcome briefing and cocktails will be held.

Morning sightseeing tour of Topkapi Palace Museum, residence of the Ottoman Sultans between 1453–1852 (excluding harem). Blue Mosque and underground Basilica Cistern. Tonight, welcome dinner (B,D)

Morning tour of St. Sophia, a church built in the 6th century Byzantine capital and now a museum and one of the world's greatest architectural wonders. Later, the Grand Bazaar followed by lunch. After lunch, continue along the Bosphorus, enjoying the strait that separates Asia and Europe. Its shores are lined with fine neighborhoods, Ottoman palaces, fortresses, old wooden villas, hotels, parks and gardens, restaurants and cafes. Late afternoon transfer to airport to catch your flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to your hotel Cairo Marriott for overnight. (B,L)

Morning flight to Luxor to visit the West Bank and the Valley of the Kings. After lunch, visit Karnak Temple and have some free time in the afternoon. This evening after dinner, catch your flight back Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for overnight. (B,L,D)

After breakfast, visit Giza and the Great Pyramids followed by lunch at Mena House hotel. Later, afternoon visit to the Egyptian Museum and the bazaar for shopping. Late afternoon return to hotel before being transferred to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for overnight. (B,L)

Morning is free, around noon you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to USA. (B)
