We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and the butler team was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. One small downside was that I checked in one day after my birthday, so I was expecting some sort of birthday recognition, but unfortunately there wasn’t. Nevertheless, this certainly didn’t ruin my stay, and we genuinely had a very enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely come back the next time we visit Osaka!

We stayed here for three nights and the location of the hotel was great, the staff were very friendly, and the room was nice. As you approached the hotel they escort you to 12 floor with the lobby is. Check-in was a breeze and they took care of our luggage is as we hadn’t transported to the hotel. The room is what you would expect from a five star hotel with his and her sinks and a large shower and tub. They also have a butler service however because we were exploring all day we did not utilize this as in other Saint Regis properties we have stayed at we also had breakfast here every day and the selection was great the food was good. We also got massages here which were also nice. Overall if I revisit Osaka I would definitely stay here again.
I've only been here a day so far but this hotel has gone well above and beyond my expectations, they have already earned their 5 stars. As far as customer service and many other areas go, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in across my many travels. From the start I was already comfortable as I was guided up to reception and even though I was 90 minutes early, they had a room ready for me. The butler service is very professional and helpful. The staff know my name even when I am in the lobby and common areas. The gym is fantastic, the spa seems nice. I ordered a wine to my room which I am very particular about, and it was very flavorful and delicious, not a bad price either. The bar downstairs has a fantastic cocktail program which is quite rare in Japan. The room is very big by Japanese standards, and has every amenity you could possibly need, including a very well equipped mini bar with small bottles of every kind of spirit. I feel incredibly comfortable here. Something I really care about is the quality of the air con, when I thought the room was too hot, I simply called the butler service and they were able to decrease the temperature from their computer internally without having to come up to my room. They cleaned my room this morning when I left for breakfast and it was in immaculate condition when I got back, they even changed the undersheets to the bed, which most hotels don't do. Some might find the price a little bit high, but with what you are getting out of the experience, I think the cost performance is actually really great. I have been treated so well here, that I feel the need to buy a small gift for the staff before I leave. I will be staying at this hotel every time I come back to Osaka with my wife now. I have never had a better experience at a hotel before, this is even better than my experience at the Ritz Carlton in Tokyo and the luxury hotels in Bangkok. Truly the best customer service I have ever encountered.
I stayed at many 5 star but St Regis definitely stood out - luxury decor - private butler - fancy restaurants, many Absolutely — here’s a friendlier, more legit-sounding version with a few real details woven in: I’ve stayed at quite a few 5-star hotels, but The St. Regis Osaka definitely stood out to me. From the moment I arrived, everything felt polished, elegant, and genuinely luxurious without trying too hard. The decor is beautiful and refined, and the whole hotel has that calm, upscale atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re somewhere special. One of the biggest highlights was the signature St. Regis Butler Service. It’s not just for show either — having that level of personalized attention really made the stay feel seamless and indulgent. The food options were also a big plus. There are several restaurants in the hotel, including La Veduta and Teppanyaki Wajo, so there’s a good range depending on what you’re in the mood for. My room was beautiful, spacious, and had a stunning skyline view. The hotel’s 12th-floor terrace and overall setting on Midosuji also add to that premium Osaka experience. What really made it memorable, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly courteous and attentive. Overall, it just felt effortlessly luxurious - easily one of my most favorite hotel stays.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was classy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making the stay feel truly luxurious. We were deciding between the St. Regis and the Ritz-Carlton, and I’m confident we made the right choice. The butler service was also a great touch - very convenient and added to the overall comfort of the experience. The only downside was unexpected window cleaning while we were in the room. It happened around 9:00 AM, but the notice was slipped under my door at about 9:30 saying it would occur at 10:00 AM. Thankfully, we had the window partially shaded, so visibility was limited, but clearer communication and timing would have been appreciated.
