Johannesburg - Hoedspruit - Kruger Area

If your flight schedule allows for it, we recommend taking a morning private tour of Johannesburg's top attractions, such as the Apartheid Museum, Constitution Hill, or Soweto. Alternatively, you can visit the Carlton Centre for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city or Nelson Mandela Square. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Oliver Tambo International Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport, which services the Kruger National Park and several private game reserves (flights available upon request). Once you arrive at Hoedspruit Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your safari lodge/camp. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose an activity from the selection offered.

Kruger Area

Experience an unforgettable day of adventure on your safari! Begin early in the morning, the ideal time for wildlife sightings. Your experienced guide will accompany you on an open-vehicle game drive, searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and other animals like giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Take a break for a breakfast picnic in a scenic location within the park, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature. Continue your game drive, discovering different areas of the park, and learning about the various flora and fauna from your knowledgeable guide. Upon returning to your accommodation for lunch and a siesta, take time to unwind and indulge in the available amenities, which may include a pool or spa treatments (at additional cost), depending on the property you have selected. Later, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you'll witness the breathtaking African sunset, and enjoy a sundowner while overlooking the stunning landscape. As darkness falls, venture out on a night drive to encounter nocturnal animals like hyenas, jackals, and bush babies, and witness the park come alive at night. Return to your lodge for a delectable dinner and a well-deserved rest, rejuvenated for another thrilling day on safari tomorrow.

Kruger Area

Enjoy another full day of adventure with morning and afternoon safari game drives, and consider adding a unique experience to your itinerary: a bushwalk. This is a great opportunity to explore the African bush up close and gain a deeper appreciation of the natural environment. Walking through the wilderness provides a more intimate perspective, allowing you to observe wildlife and their habitat in a more immersive way. With the guidance of experienced ranger guides, you can also learn about the local flora and fauna, and gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystem that supports them.

Kruger Area - Hoedspruit - Cape Town

Today, depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for one last morning safari drive before your transfer from the lodge/camp to Hoedspruit Airport for your scheduled flight to Cape Town (flights available upon request). On arrival at Cape Town Airport, your private driver will be waiting to take you to your chosen accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Cape Town

Experience Cape Town's most iconic sights today! Consider taking a private tour of the city that includes the thrilling cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for stunning views high above the clouds. Explore the cultural sights of the Mother City, including the impressive Castle of Good Hope, Cape Town City Hall, George's Cathedral, Company Gardens, and the vibrant Bo-Kaap. Afterward, head to the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the VA Waterfront to board your ferry to Robben Island (weather permitting). Once on the island, former political prisoners will guide you through one of the world's most famous prisons where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years. See his cell and gain unparalleled insight into South Africa's history.
