Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel for the remainder of the day at your leisure.

You have the full morning and afternoon at your leisure to explore at your own pace before meeting your driver at your hotel for your evening tour of the city. You will visit the open-air bazaar of Chinatown, a Hindu temple and a sample local cuisine at one of Kuala Lumpur’s popular hawker centers. (B) 

Start your day with a relaxing and fascinating cruise along the Malacca River, learning the history of this former main trade artery. Following your cruise, take a walking tour of the town’s main square where you will see influences from the Dutch and Portuguese colonial periods. After a local lunch, proceed to the Baba and Nyonya Museum, illustrating the lifestyle of the Peranakans at the end of the 19th century. Continue with a stroll along Jonker Street, otherwise known as Antique Row, which also includes the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia. (B,L) 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Labu Sentral Jetty. Board your boat to Mutiara Taman Negara. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel followed by an informational video presentation on Taman Negara, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Tonight, take part in a nighttime jungle walk with a local guide for an enthralling and unforgettable experience in the nocturnal rain forest. (B,D) 

Begin your exciting journey with a trek to Teresek Hill, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon, board a longboat trip to the beautiful waterfalls of Lata Berkoh. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B,L,D) 

Enjoy a morning at leisure in the rain forest before boarding your boat to Kuala Tahan, the gateway to the Cameron Highlands. Your drive to the Highlands will be incredibly scenic, so kick back and enjoy the ride. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the remainder of the evening at your leisure to enjoy the cool, fresh air of the Highlands. (B) 

Hop on your Land Rover for a rugged drive through the picturesque, rolling tea gardens to the Gunung Brinchang. Listen to your guide’s “tea talks” while taking in the extraordinary views of the gardens. An interpretive walk with your nature guide into the Mossy Forest will reveal some of the most exotic flora on earth like the Pitcher Plant and many plants with medicinal properties. A short drive down the mountain will bring you to the Sungie Palas Tea Factory for a tour of the production process before a tea tasting. Finish the afternoon with a cup of your favorite tea and snacks before a short tour of the Rose Garden and vegetable farms. (B) 

Depart from Cameron Highlands in the early afternoon and proceed on your journey north to the island of Penang. Cross the Penang Bridge before arriving on the island for check-in at your hotel and the remainder of the evening at your leisure. (B) 

Eat a very light breakfast before meeting your guide for a morning walk to the oldest market in Georgetown. Take a stroll down the market where you can find fresh foods, cheap clothing and knick-knacks. You may want to try your hand at haggling with the shop owners over price! Let your guide know if you would like to try any of the steaming food stalls for breakfast as well. Later, enjoy a walking tour through the streets of Georgetown, ending at the Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. (B) 

Enjoy a final Malaysian breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
