Arrival - Lima

Deluxe Class: AC Marriott Lima Miraflores or similar accommodations

Upon arrival in Lima, meet the representative and transfer in a private car to your hotel.

Lima - Cusco

Deluxe Class: Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Cusco or similar accommodations

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to your hotel to board your departure flight to Cusco (Ticket Not Included). Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be assisted by the representative and transferred to your hotel. After check in, enjoy a half-day city tour of Cusco and nearby archaeological sites including, Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q’enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place. Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. We will close the tour with a visit to the San Blas neighborhood, famous for its artisans. (B)

Cusco - Sacred Valley - Cusco

After breakfast, set out for a full day tour of the incredible Sacred Valley. First, visit Chinchero, a small, picturesque Andean village, where you will visit a local textile artisan to see his original works and learn about his techniques and creative process. Then, visit Inca ruins from the late 15th century as well as a Spanish colonial church dating from 1607. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at a viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley, and lunch in a local restaurant. Then, it’s on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most famous building complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors’ rare strategic defeats. (B, L)

Cusco - Macchu Picchu - Cusco

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before an excursion to one of the world’s most breathtaking and mysterious wonders. Begin with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, nestled in the bottom of the valley. Ascend to the ruins and learn about the incredible history of this amazing site from an expert guide. There will be plenty of time for exploring the site and taking pictures of the stunning views. Afterwards, return to Cusco via train and transfer back to the hotel. (B)

Cusco - Departure

After breakfast, say adios to Peru as you take a private transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
