Lima - Arrival

Deluxe & Superior First Class: JW Marriott Lima or similar accommodations

Upon arrival, meet your driver for a private transfer to your selected hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore.

Discover Lima

You will visit the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting with the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro before heading to the Historic Center. Once there, you will visit the impressive Santo Domingo Convent, which will astonish you with its colonial style. Then, you will walk to the Plaza de Armas, where you can take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. Afterwards, you will go to the Chocolate Museum to have an exquisite experience with Peruvian cocoa before heading to the Museo del Pisco to taste the traditional Peruvian liquor. Upon leaving the Historic Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection. (B)

Lima - Cusco - Sacred Valley

Deluxe & Superior First Class: Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba or similar accommodations

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to for your flight to Cusco (not included). Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After a moment to drop your luggage and freshen up, you will head towards the Sacred Valley, stopping first at the Raqchi viewpoint, from where you will have a privileged view of the Urubamba Valley. Then, you will head to Moray, a fascinating archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Later, visit the Maras salt mines, where the finest salt in the world is extracted: Maras salt. You will then head to a restaurant in Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Continue to Ollantaytambo where you can visit the archaeological complex of the same name, one of the largest in Peru, which is strategically located on top of a mountain. Afterwards, you will descend to the town of Ollantaytambo, which stands out for maintaining the Inca urban planning as part of its original layout. You can tour the town and visit the local market before heading back to your hotel for dinner at your leisure. (B,L)

Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your hotel to Ollanta train station to catch your Inca Rail Executive train to Aguas Calientes (ticket included). The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. Upon arrival, you will board a shuttle bus to the gates of one of the most important destinations in the world, Machu Picchu. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Later, head back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch a la carte at the Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo hotel. Finally, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo where you will be met by a representative for your transfer to Cusco. (B,L)

Explore Cusco

Deluxe & Superior First Class: JW Marriott El Convento or similar accommodations

Today is yours at leisure to explore the city on your own or take an optional tour. We recommend a half-day tour of Cusco’s archaeological sites, such as the Koricancha Temple, the Plaza de Armas and its famous Cathedral, the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman and the Puca-Pucara ruins. After this, you will visit the art workshop known as Inka’s Expression where you will discover the different nutritional, healing and cosmetic properties of various Peruvian natural products. (B)

Cusco - Return

You will be transferred by private car to the airport to for your flight back to Lima (not included) or to continue on to your next destination. (B)
