Yorkshire Escapade

In the morning, make your own way to the station for your train to York. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. In the afternoon, explore one of the largest gothic cathedrals in Northern Europe, York Minster. You’ll also explore the maze of streets and inside the walled city known as the “shambles” symbolised by the black & white timber buildings typical of that period.

Today, discover York and the surroundings at your pace. You can consider taking optional tour of North Yorkshire Moors. Admire the wild scenery of this national park stopping in Pickering and also Goathland, the station of which also doubled as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films.
