Deluxe Hotels: Chateau d Artigny or similar accommodations

Enjoy a private drive from Paris to the Loire Valley. Upon arrival, meet your guide for a tour of the Loire Valley, visiting the marvelous Chateau of Chenonceau, the Royal Chateau of Amboise, and the Chateau of the Close Lucé. Later, enjoy a winery lunch presented by an oenologist in his Caves Duhard cellars followed by a tasting of his finest wines. (B,L)

Deluxe Hotels: Chateau d Artigny or similar accommodations

A leisurely river cruise, perhaps the best way to observe the monuments and stunning settings of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Loire Valley. Transfer to the pier and enjoy a cruise through the Valley. Glide by riverside villages, charming castles, and lush flora and fauna by the riverbanks. Enjoy snacks and a picnic lunch on board and a guided tour of the Chateau of Chambord. Tonight, consider an optional sunset hot air balloon ride over the picturesque landscape. (B,L)
