Upon arrival, a private transfer whisks you from the airport directly to your London hotel, allowing you to settle in at your own pace after the journey. With the afternoon free to rest or explore nearby sights, the evening brings your first taste of the season: a private transfer delivers you to Covent Garden, where boutique chalets, twinkling lights, and the piazza's street performers set the tone for the week ahead. Browse artisan gifts, sip mulled wine, and sample some of London's best street food before returning to your hotel. It's a gentle, festive introduction to a week centered entirely on the UK's finest Christmas markets, with London as your comfortable home base throughout.

Day 2: Winchester: A Cathedral City Christmas

A private transfer takes you to the train station this morning for the approximately one-hour journey to Winchester, one of England's most charming cathedral cities. On arrival, spend the day exploring over 100 traditional wooden chalets clustered around the cathedral grounds, with a live nativity scene adding to the storybook atmosphere. Wander the historic streets, browse artisan crafts and local produce, and enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of Winchester's cozy pubs or tearooms. In the late afternoon, a private transfer returns you to the train station for the journey back to London, where the evening is left free to relax or dine at leisure.

Day 3: Bath: England's Most Romantic Market

This morning, a private transfer brings you to the station for the scenic train journey to Bath, widely considered the most romantic of the UK's Christmas markets. Spend the day among artisan stalls set dramatically against the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey, framed by the city's honey-colored Georgian architecture. Take time to explore the historic streets, sample seasonal treats, and soak in the festive atmosphere of one of England's most beautiful cities. A private transfer meets you in the late afternoon for the return journey to London, with the evening free to unwind after a full day of sightseeing and shopping.

Day 4: Birmingham: Frankfurt Comes to the Midlands

A private transfer delivers you to the train station for the journey to Birmingham, home to the UK's largest and most authentic German-style Christmas market, twinned with Frankfurt itself. Spend the day browsing traditional stalls stocked with handcrafted gifts, decorations, and seasonal specialties, and warm up with a cup of Glühwein and a classic bratwurst. The market's scale and old-world atmosphere make it one of the most immersive festive experiences in Britain. In the late afternoon, a private transfer returns you to the station for the journey back to London, leaving the evening open to relax or explore at your own pace.

Day 5: York: Chalets Beneath the Minster

An earlier private transfer to the station starts your day, as the journey to York takes a little longer than the previous stops. On arrival, spend the day wandering the market stalls lining the historic Shambles and the alpine-style chalets of St Sampson's Square, all set beneath the towering silhouette of York Minster. Duck into Thor's Tipi for a warming drink, and take time to soak in the city's medieval streets before the light fades. A private transfer meets you for the return journey to London in the evening, capping off a full and memorable day in one of England's most storied cities.

Day 6: Your Choice: A Day Trip, or Stay in London

If you'd rather skip another train journey, spend the day soaking in London's own Christmas spirit instead. Wander Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland for its funfair, ice rink, and festive market stalls, or take a private transfer to Somerset House for a more elegant skating experience beneath its courtyard's giant tree. Stroll Oxford and Regent Streets to see London's famous Christmas lights, and step inside Harrods or Liberty for their lavish seasonal window displays and decor. Round out the afternoon with mulled wine and mince pies at one of the city's many pop-up chalets, before an early evening at leisure ahead of your final night in London.

Day 7: One Last Stroll & Departure

With the morning free, use the time for any last-minute shopping or a final stroll through Covent Garden's market before your journey home.
