Madrid and Barcelona Highlights

Upon arrival, meet your driver for a private transfer to your selected hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then meet your driver/guide for a private tour of the city. You will approach the façade of the Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro. Witness splended examples of Madrid’s architectural style with The Church of San Francisco El Grande, the Fountains of Paseo del Prado, the Toledo Bridge, the Prado Museum, and Puerta de Alcalá. (B)

After breakfast, meet your driver for a private transfer to Toledo. Upon arrival, your local guide will take you through the highlights of the city, showing off Toledo as a museum. A city of great artistic beauty, with magnificent examples of architecture from different epochs including Arab, Jewish and Catholic, Toledo is a leading artistic city of Spain and declared a Heritage of Mankind Town by Unesco. Enjoy your walking tour to admire the beautiful streets and monuments such as the Cathedral exterior and a visit to the St. Tome Church to see the Burial of Lord Orgaz, El Greco’s masterpiece. You will also see Cristo de la Luz Mosque above a sweeping drop down to the Tagus River, offering magnificent views of Santa Maria La Blanca Synagogue and San Juan de los Reyes Church. This afternoon, return to Madrid for the remainder of the day at your leisure. (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred by private car to the airport for your flight to Barcelona (included). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and meet your driver/guide for a private tour of the city. The variety and wealth of Barcelona’s heritage provide a number of attractive routes through its various districts. Your driver/ guide will introduce you to the best parts of Barcelona and can adjust his route to satisfy your curiosities. This way, you will get to know the most typical monuments of the city and see some hidden treasures as well. (B)

After breakfast, meet your driver and guide at your hotel to enjoy a private tour in Montserrat; a mountain, a sanctuary and a monastery. The Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat, founded in the 11th century, is located in a Natural Park 60 km to the west of Barcelona. Continue through the Penedès wine and cava routes, located between the plains of the Mediterranean coast and the nearby mountains, before returning to Barcelona for the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore the city on your own. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred by private car to the airport to continue on to your next destination. (B)
