Arrival - Madrid

Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure in this magical city.

Madrid

Today explore the magnificent city of Madrid on your own or take one of the recommended private or small group optional tours. See major attractions that include the Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens, Campo del Moro, the Church of San Francisco El Grande, the Neptuno Fountains, the Toledo Bridge, and the elegant Plaza de Oriente, the Prado Museum, and Puerta de Alcalá. You may want to visit the former residence of the Spanish Royal Family. Inside, see the tapestries, elaborate furniture, and paintings. Tonight, we recommend experiencing Flamenco Show with dinner.

Madrid

Enjoy a day at leisure for additional sites, shopping, wonderful restaurants, and shows, or consider joining an optional tour to Toledo, a UNESCO city of great artistic beauty. Admire the beautiful streets and monuments from different epochs; Arab, Jewish, and Catholic.

Madrid - Barcelona

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and transfer to the Madrid train station. Board your train and take the 2.5-hour train ride to Barcelona watching the countryside of Spain pass before you. Upon arrival in Barcelona, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure in this vibrant city.

Barcelona

Today explore Barcelona on your own or take one of the recommended private or small group optional tours. See major attractions that include the glamorous Passeig de Gràcia with Gaudí’s most famous modern homes, Guell Parc, the Sagrada Familia, the Picasso Museum, Plaza de Catalunya, Olympic Village, Olympic Port, the Fishermans Quarter, and Plaza de Colon. Drive to Mont Juic to board a scenic cable car to get stunning aerial vistas of the city, before heading to the Spanish Village. Consider visiting an optional Flamenco show in the evening.

Barcelona

Enjoy a day at leisure in Barcelona or consider an optional tour to the historical city of Girona with its Jewish quarter, and to Figueres with the Dali Museum. Alternatively, drive through the picturesque little villages to Montserrat Mountain to visit the Royal Basilica with its famous 12th century Romanesque sculpture of the “Black Virgin”.

Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and transfer to Barcelona airport. Board your flight for Palma de Mallorca. Upon arrival in Palma de Mallorca, you have the option to be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure in this tropical paradise.

Palma de Mallorca

Today explore Mallorca. The island of Mallorca combines the scenic beauty of the land and the sea. The coast is blessed with long stretches of sandy beaches, secret coves, and plenty of sunshine. The interior is dotted with picturesque villages steeped in history and the layered heritage of the Romans, Arabs, and Christians who have conquered and settled the area. Rent a bicycle, go sailing or hike through the rugged wilderness.

Enjoy a day at leisure in Palma de Mallorca, take in some last-minute shopping, sailing, or relax on the beach.

Palma de Mallorca - Departure

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and you can choose to meet your private driver for the short transfer to the Palma de Mallorca airport where you will check-in for your onward flight.
