Mombasa Rendezvous: Tsavo East, Amboseli & Taita Hills

Trade the beach for the bush on this four-day Kenyan safari from the coast, travelling inland from Mombasa to three of the country's most spectacular wildlife destinations. Begin in Tsavo East National Park, home to legendary red elephants dusted crimson by the iron-rich soil, then journey to Amboseli, where great herds of wildlife roam the plains beneath the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Continue to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, staying at a remarkable lodge raised on stilts above a busy waterhole and salt lick, with a thrilling night drive in search of nocturnal wildlife. Plant a tree to support local conservation and discover the little-known story of the First World War's East African campaign before returning to the coast. It's the perfect safari add-on to a Kenyan beach holiday.
