After breakfast and a briefing from your safari team, you transfer to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for a scenic light-aircraft flight south to Amboseli National Park. As you descend, the snow-capped dome of Mount Kilimanjaro rises above the plains, an unforgettable first glimpse of the African bush. Your guide meets you at the airstrip, and your safari begins at once with game viewing en route to your tented camp, set on a private concession bordering the park. After breakfast, game view en route to the Loisaba airstrip and board your light aircraft for the flight southwest to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destination. Touching down in the southern Mara, you begin game viewing straight away on the drive to your tented camp, set on the banks of a seasonal river near the Tanzanian border, arriving in time for lunch. After a final breakfast overlooking the Mara, you transfer to the Keekorok airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival you are met and transferred to a hotel where a day room is at your disposal, giving you time to rest, shower and repack before your onward journey. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the hotel, a chance to share stories and photographs from your week in the wild.
