Norway Escapade

Upon arrival in Oslo, meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure to explore at your own pace or to consider an optional visit to one of Oslo’s many museums or art galleries.

Today is free at your leisure to explore or join an optional tour. You might want to consider an optional private walking tour of Oslo including the Royal Palace, Akershus Fortress and Aker Brygge Harbor. From the harbor, you will continue by boat to the Bygdoy peninsula for a visit to the Viking Museum. (B)

Head to the train station this morning for your journey to Myrdal (ticket included). In Myrdal, switch to the famous Flam Railway that passes through wild and beautiful scenery with waterfalls and steep mountainsides. Upon arrival in Flam, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure. (B)

Before continuing your tour, use the morning to discover Flam and its surroundings with exciting activities such as kayaking and snowshoeing in winter. In the afternoon, board the ferry taking you over the Aurlandsfjord and Naeroyfjord to Gudvangen. From here, the journey continues by bus through Naeroyfjord Valley and through the Stalheimskleiva with its thirteen steep, hairpin bends. The last part of the excursion will take place by train from Voss to Bergen, Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by seven mountains and seven fjords. (B)

Today is free to explore the Gateway to the Fjords at your leisure. The city is located on the west coast of Norway with close proximity to the famous Norwegian fjords. We recommend taking an optional walking tour of the city to visit highlights such as the Hanseatic Bryggen area, the Floibanen Funicular and the Fish Market. (B)

Enjoy a final Norwegian breakfast at your hotel before make your own way to the airport for your return flight home. (B)
