Enjoy the view from the Opera House before heading off to Bygdoy Island. Visit one of the most popular museums, the Viking Ship Museum, with its three Viking vessels. Vigeland’s Park, one of the major cultural treasures of Scandinavia, will welcome us with sculptures by Gustav Vigeland, who dedicated his life to his artistic works. We will also pass by the Royal Palace and the main street, Karl Johan. The tour ends at the hotel, from where you will be free to explore the Viking capital at your own pace. (B)

Oslo - Lofthus

Deluxe Class: Hotel Ullensvang or similar accommodations

After breakfast, pick your private vehicle up in Oslo City Centre and depart for Lofthus. Drive across the pine forest- and lake-filled landscapes of Honefoss and Nesbyen before arriving in the beautiful Hallingdal Valley. Visit the towns of Gol and Geilo, the latter of which is a small town surrounded by mountains and famous for its ski resorts. Then drive to the impressive Hardanger fjord to arrive at Lofthus, one of Edvard Grieg's favourite haunts, and one of the most beautiful points of the fjord. Dinner at the hotel. (B, D)

Lofthus - Bergen

Deluxe Class: Hotel Norge by Scandic or similar accommodations

After breakfast, depart Lofthus and travel back along the fjord until reaching Brimnes, where you will cross the splendid Hardanger fjord by traveling across the newly opened Hardanger Bridge. The Hardanger Bridge has one of the longest suspension spans in the world and the longest in Norway. After reaching the other side, continue along the fjord, passing by Nordheimsund and crossing through birch forests until arriving in Bergen. Bergen is the capital of the fjords, Norway’s second-largest city, and one of the three university cities in the country. In the early afternoon, meet your local guide at the hotel for a 2-hour panoramic sightseeing tour, during which we will delight in St. Mary’s Church, Haakon’s Hall, the colorful and picturesque fish markets, and the old Bryggen area. The evening is at your leisure. (B)

Continue to Flåm, where you can either stop for lunch or board a return train to Myrdal to experience one of the most spectacular rail journeys in the world, descending down from the mountain station of Myrdal to the quaint fjord village of Flåm. Afterwards, visit the Stegastein Viewpoint to marvel at the incredible views of Nærefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue your journey through Laerdal and Skei until reaching Loen, beautifully situated between mountains, lakes, and fjords. Dinner and overnight at the prestigious hotel Alexandra. (B, D)

After lunch, continue the journey through the lofty Norwegian mountains to the famous point of Dalsnibba, an observation point located 1,476 meters above sea level, with a spectacular view of the famous Geiranger Fjord.
