Palermo – Arrival

Upon arrival at the Palermo airport, pick up your rental car and drive to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.



Explore Palermo & Monreale

Enjoy a tour of Palermo accompanied by your private guide. Visit the city’s various landmarks such as the cathedral and Norman Palace. Continue to Monreale, a small town with a magnificent view of Palermo and a unique cathedral. (B)



Palermo – Marsala

Drive to Marsala  and enjoy a cooking class at Baglio Soria. (B,L)



Explore Marsala

Start your day with a visit to the Marsala salt pans. Visit the active windmill Ettore Infersa to learn about traditional salt production, or consider taking an boat tour on the Sicilian “Dead Sea”, a decommissioned salt basin. (B)



Marsala – Mazara del Vallo – Sciacca – Agrigento

Drive to Mazara del Vallo and visit the Dancing Satyr Museum. Afterwards, proceed to Sciacca and take a leisurely walk in the old town center before continuing to Agrigento for your overnight stay. (B)



Sicilian Experience & the Valley of the Temples

Drive to Sant’Angelo Muxaro and experience Sicilian rural life. You will have lunch with a local family and taste the local produce. Observe artisans at their craft, walk to the Grave of the Prince - the largest domed tomb in Sicily - and descend into the Ciavuli Cave Natural Reserve. In the afternoon, visit the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, a majestic archaeological site with temples dating back to the 5th century B.C. (B,L)



Agrigento – Palermo – Return

Drive to the Palermo airport and drop off your rental car before for your return flight home. (B)
